The Big Ten Conference has unveiled the 2024 schedule of league football games.
The conference had previously released the matchups of the new 18-team league for the next several seasons. Thursday saw those matchups given actual dates on the calendar.
The 2024 season will be the first for the Big Ten without divisions since before Nebraska joined in 2011.
Nebraska opens the Big Ten slate with a home games against Illinois on September 21. The first road game is September 28 at Purdue.
NU will play two new league foes in 2024. The Huskers host UCLA Nov. 2 and go to USC Nov. 16.
As has been tradition since joining the league, Nebraska closes the regular-season with a Black Friday game against Iowa, this one in Iowa City.
