THE FORD F-150 CONTINUES TO UNITE THE NATION

The Ford F-Series pickup truck line, has been the leader in truck sales for the past four decades, and for good reason. Ford has ensured that there are plenty of options available for its full-size F-150 pickup to suit an individual’s needs. With 2024 just around the corner, that success is bound to continue with a refreshed Ford F-150, but to celebrate 46 years of being the best-selling truck, Ford has compiled a chart to show which trims and options are most popular by state.

United States of Ford F-150: Details

Check out the chart to see which states favor specific trims and packages. Some of the standouts include Utah, which appears to select the PowerBoost Hybrid powertrain; Nevada loves the Raptor; Idaho prefers the Tremor; Alaska opts for the max trailer tow packages; Florida buys the most 4x2s; while the King Ranch is most prevalent in Texas. The list goes on, but it’s clear that whatever your needs may be, the Ford F-150 has you covered, and with the refresh coming for the 2024 model year, the truck will only get better.

Ford is making America’s best-selling pickup even more fantastic with an upgrade to its max payload for 2024, which will now be 2,455 pounds; accompanying that upgrade is a new maximum towing capacity of 13,500 pounds. Towing is taken a step further for the 2024 model year as the Blue Oval adds advanced driver-assist features like Pro Trailer Backup Assist and Pro Trailer Hitch Assist. Pro Trailer Hitch Assist uses the rear camera and corner radars to align the hitch with the trailer coupler while simultaneously controlling the truck’s speed, steering, and braking to stop it at just the right place, all at the touch of a button. Meanwhile, the Pro Trailer Backup Assist allows the camera to track the trailer position while the driver backs up and guides the trailer. This is done by rotating the knob left or right in the direction the trailer needs to go.

Those features are just an example of how the 2024 Ford F-150 refresh will take the truck to a new level above the competition. All F-Series trucks are assembled here in the USA, creating over 500,000 jobs across America. Now, if Ford could source all the parts for the truck from the United States, it would genuinely be America’s pickup truck.
