*Cookie Cutter* is set against the backdrop of the Megastructure, a huge, dystopian planet ruled by INFONET, a mega-corporation led by the deranged Garbanzos family. Centuries ago, INFONET promised a utopia built on the backs of androids called Denzels. That was a lie. Over the course of 200 years, the corp has drilled into the Megastructure in pursuit of a fraction of its energy source called the Red Seed, which is used to further power its precious Golden City.
As INFONET continues its tradition of screwing the planet over, one of its engineers, Doctor Shinji Fallon, uses the Denzel program to create Cherry as a companion. But Cherry isn’t like the other Denzels. She and Shinji quickly fall in love.
The romance doesn’t last long. After the current INFONET leader, Salem Garbanzos, accuses Shinji of stealing the Red Seed, he kidnaps the engineer and orders his literal Dickhead minions to clobber Cherry to pieces.
Some time later, a renegade scientist and mechanic named Raz discovers what’s left of Cherry and revives her. The android sets out to enact her sweet, blood-soaked revenge. It’s a Christmas tale for the ages!
Scream “Fa-la-la-la-la–la-la-la-DIE!” as Cherry brutalizes grotesque bugs, menacing robots, and gargantuan bosses with an array of ridiculous weapons, special moves, and beautifully gory finishers. Kick, punch, and uppercut across 10 huge zones, each one stranger than the last.
Drool over meticulously crafted 2D hand-drawn visuals that look better than Chris Hemsworth underneath a mistletoe. *ookie Cutter* is a diabolical concoction of Japanese manga, Quentin Tarantino films, and H.P. Lovecraft that every Christmas party needs. Just make sure grandma’s had her eggnog first.
“Whoa, whoa, whoa, down there, hold up! You’re saying I’m good to go?” Cherry asks Regina, her AI sidekick (who could also be a vagina).
“Stress testing is complete and I’m happy to report that your core structure is powered up and firing on all cylinders,” replies the character. “*ookie Cutter* is fully active!”
