Mariah Carey has carried on her new year tradition of jumping into a jacuzzi in a posh frock.
The ‘All I Want for Christmas is You’ singer, 54, has spent years treating her fans to online updates showing her taking a dip in hot tubs in Louis Vuitton or Tom Ford gowns in spots from the Dominican Republic to Aspen.
Her latest video showing her carrying on the tradition showed her wearing a full-length red sparkling dress as she lowered herself into a steaming hot tub.
She captioned the clip: “Wishing us all a healthy, peaceful and a happy new year! (red heart emoji.)
Newly-single Mariah also kept on her diamond chain necklace as she stepped into the water as snow fell around her.
Fans took to the comments section of her post to hail her as a “queen” for creating her glamorous tradition, while others joked it marked the period when she went into “hibernation” until next Christmas.
Mum-of-two Mariah – who has twins Moroccan and Monroe, 12, with her 43-year-old actor ex-husband Nick Cannon – also posed for fans with her “bad side” on show for a New Year’s Eve post.
Her snap showed her posing in a silver sequin gown with the left side of her face turned to the camera and captioned it: “New year, new beginnings… taking a picture from my ‘bad side’!”
It was revealed at the end of December that after more than seven years of dating, Mariah and dancer Bryan Tanaka, 40, had split in late 2023.
The pair began working together professionally in 2006 and 10 years later – after Mariah called it quits with her fiancé James Packer – they began dating.
They initially split after five months of dating, but reunited weeks later.
A source told People in 2021 about how overjoyed Mariah was to be dating Bryan: “(She) is really happy. He’s always doting on her and they have a great time together.
“He’s also great with her kids.”
