Nebrasketball Dominates Indiana 86-70

Wednesday wasn't officially Japan night at Pinnacle Bank Arena, but it should have been.

With Keisei Tominaga's family and multiple unrelated others in attendance from the land of the rising sun, the sharpshooter went off for 28 points to lead Nebraska to an 86-70 shellacking of Indiana (10-4, 2-1 Big Ten). The win improves NU to 12-2 on the season and 2-1 in the Big Ten Conference.

The majority of Tominaga's points came after halftime, as he got 16 points during a 19-8 run that put the game away.

Besides a solid outing from Tominaga, the difference in the game was turnovers. Indiana turned the ball over 19 times, leading to 27 Husker points. Nebraska committed just eight turnovers, with only two of those coming in the second half.

Nebraska shot 45.8 percent for the game, including 12-of-32 from three-point range. NU added 20 free throws on 26 attempts.

Other Huskers scoring in double figures were Brice Willimas (15), Jamarques Lawrence (12) and CJ Wilcher (11).

Back from a knee injury for the first time in a few weeks, Rienk Mast played 30 minutes. The Dutchman scored nine points while grabbing three rebounds and handing out a trio of assists.

Nebraska heads on the road to Wisconsin Saturday before hosting No. 1 Purdue Tuesday.
