Ronan Keating performs surprise gigs for Tesco Mobile customers

Ronan Keating changed his social media handles ahead of a surprise performance over the weekend.

The chart-topping pop star - who shot to fame as part of Boyzone in the 90s - changed his name to ‘Roaming Keating’ across his Instagram, X and TikTok accounts, before he shocked shoppers by performing at a Tesco Mobile store.

The singer - who is helping celebrate the extension of the network’s roaming offer till 2025 - said: "I am very excited to kick off my work with Tesco Mobile as their new Roaming Ambassador, it feels I perhaps was born to play this role.

"Let’s face it, we’re all thinking about getting away on holiday around this time of year. Having toured and visited many places over the years I know how important it is to stay connected when we do, so now really is the time to also start thinking about holiday essentials.

"I’ll be on hand to offer my extensive roaming advice this week so come and find me or ask for me by my new name. You may just win some holiday helps in the process."

Ronan, 46 - who has performed at some of the biggest and most iconic venues in the world during his career - began his unusual tour in Hemel Hempstead.

However, Ronan is planning to visit many more Tesco Mobile stores across the country this week.
