Darius Jackson's brother fails to get Keke Palmer restraining order

Darius Jackson's brother has failed in a bid to obtain a restraining order against Keke Palmer.

Sarunas J. Jackson had accused the 'Nope' actress of having "harassed and stalked" friends and family on social media and claimed she had "used her celebrity to publicly lie" about him and his family, which had resulted in death threats by the public."

He filed to seek protection from the 30-year-old star - who received her own temporary domestic violence restraining order against former partner Darius in November - and her mother, Sharon Palmer, but the court denied his request, citing "insufficient evidence that great or irreparable harm would result".

However, E! News reports a hearing to discuss the matter has been set for 7 February.

In his filing, Sarunas alleged Keke had damaged his career and personal life.

He added: "We have had banging on our door from strangers.

"Keke allegedly has made foul claims about me that I have sexual abuse claims on me. I have never done such a thing."

In the filing, Sarunas included a copy of an email he claimed his brother's lawyer had received from Keke's team, which stated she had "legitimate concerns" about the safety of her and her 11-month-old son Leodis around Darius' family.

And he sought to take action against Sharon because he alleged she "threatened to put a bullet in my brother's head and said to me and my family we 'don't know who we are dealing with.' She also threatened to have us raped."

In November, Keke requested a domestic violence restraining order alongside an application for sole custody of Leodis after accusing Darius of being physically and emotionally abusive during their two-year relationship.

She wrote: "So much of Darius' abuse towards me throughout our relationship was based on his insecurity and jealousy that I became extremely concerned when Darius started to express jealousy about the time I was spending with our son."

In a response filed in December, the 29-year-old former NFL player alleged the 'Lightyear' actress was the "primary aggressor" and had "repeatedly engaged in abusive conduct" against him.
