Snoop Dogg Changes His Mind On Trump

Snoop Dogg has a new found admiration for former President Donald Trump. “I have nothing but love and respect for Trump,” he stated in an exclusive interview with The Times.

The rapper’s praise for the former President comes after Trump pardoned Death Row Records’ co-founder, Michael “Harry O” Harris, in 2021, who had been imprisoned for over three decades on conspiracy and attempted murder charges.

In 2011, during a televised Comedy Central roast, Snoop took a jab at Trump’s potential presidential run, humorously suggesting, “Why not? It wouldn’t be the first time you’d pushed a black family out of their home,” alluding to Trump’s past criticisms.

But now, after pardoning Harris, Snoop says, “He [Trump] ain’t done nothing wrong to me. He has done only great things for me.”

A former Democrat supporter, Snoop endorsed Obama with a post over Mitt Romney in the 2012. Snoop met the Obamas, and photos adorn the walls of his Los Angeles studio, the Compound.

Snoop denounced Trump during his presidency and claimed he would vote for the first time in the 2020 election to expel the former president from office.

“I ain’t never voted a day in my life, but this year I think I’m going to get out and vote because I can’t stand to see this punk in office one more year,” said Snoop.

Snoop may endorse a candidate in the 2024 presidential election, but said he will see “what the people say” as “mixed views” exist.
