Fragrance fans snap up £80 worth of free perfume ahead of Valentine’s day at Cult Beauty

When it comes to Valentine’s Day, perfume is a gift that’s going to be a guaranteed hit. And we’ve found a way shoppers can get their hands on nearly £80 worth of free fragrance in time for February 14.

Cult Beauty has launched their latest Fragrance Edit this week, starring not one, not two, but 12 different scents, from the likes of Kayali, Jo Loves and Maison Margiela.

The box costs £40 but is worth a whopping £119 , and is ideal for those who like to switch up their perfume, or are on the hunt for something new and don’t want to spend a fortune buying full sized bottles.

The sprays range from 1.2ml to 10ml, but combined, there’s just under 50ml of fragrance, which could last between 250-375 days depending on how liberal you are with your spritz, meaning you could have yourself a years-worth of scent for £40, saving 65 per cent on the RRP.

Among the perfumes is the Kayali Vanilla 28 Eau De Parfum, which is the brainchild of Huda Beauty founders, Huda and Mona Kattan. The beautifully balanced scent features creamy jasmine, rich Madagascan vanilla orchid, softly sweet Brazilian tonka, musk, amber, patchouli and brown sugar - so it’s ideal for those seeking a sweet yet musky aroma.

With plenty of five-star reviews, it’s not hard to see why the deliciously smelling perfume is so popular amongst so many shoppers, with many calling it ‘their go-to scent’ and ‘by far the best vanilla based perfume.’

One delighted shopper on the Boots website said: “Finally got my hands on a big bottle! I’ve had the 10ml one for ages and I was waiting for it to go on offer. I’m obsessed with vanilla but ever so slightly musky and sexy. My new fave.”

A second added: “Amazing perfume, so many complaints and it lasts all day. On my second bottle now, will keep buying.”

Although many are fans of the perfume, some customers were left unimpressed, with one shopper saying: “The perfume smells gorgeous but the smell does not last at all. The smell is gone within 2 hours. Honestly, not worth it.”

What’s great about the discovery boxes though is that there are so many varied perfumes to try, you’re bound to find one you like, even if there’s one you’re not so keen on.

Here’s everything you get inside the Cult Beauty Fragrance Edit for £40:

They’re not the only retailer selling a fragrance-focused haul, though, with ASOS stocking a £25 box filled with almost £100 worth of perfume from Marc Jacobs and Who Is Elijah where one bottle is worth £40 alone. Meanwhile, LookFantastic has a £55 box featuring a mix of five fragrances and five beauty products, as well as a £55 voucher to redeem on your favourite full-size fragrance from the edit afterwards.

But Cult Beauty certainly gives you the biggest variety to try with its 12 different sprays. Whether you’re treating yourself, or buying it as a gift for Valentine’s Day, you can shop the £40 Fragrance Edit here.
