Big Love teased the drama-filled reunion on Showmax just days ago, confirming she was on her way back from filming. But with no new episode of The Real Housewives of Lagos on the platform, there’s chaos.
Real Housewives of Lagos reunion
The Real Housewives of Lagos season 2 reunion’s release date is set for February 16, as per the Showmax app. Fans have been waiting since the show’s recent season finished airing in December.
It is unusual for RHOL to have such a large gap from the season finale to reunion, but Laura just landed in Lagos from the United States earlier this week and was on the same flight as co-star Faith Morey.
Iyabo did not attend the reunion, despite previously admitting she convinced Chioma to return to season two with her. Her friends Tania and Dr. Rommel were in attendance, though.
Laura Ikeji confirms RHOL reunion
Laura Ikeji said she finished filming the RHOL reunion on February 9 and told followers: “I won’t spill but it was fun doing what we had to do. I’ve had this hair for hours, I made it at 2pm yesterday and it’s 8.05am.”
One fan speculated on Twitter: “Well she and Chioma didn’t go. They shot the reunion last night to the early hours of this morning, just 4 housewives and doc Rommel came.”
Big Love responded to the fan: “Next time the production will film the reunion before 4-6 episodes air. They should know all housewives production do their reunion like that.”
RHOL fans are not happy
When RHOL wasn’t Showmax by the early hours of February 16, fans took to social media to share their anger. One fan wrote, “#RHOLagos are wasting everyone’s time. Are we getting that reunion or what?”
Another penned, “Yaz I just knew that we’d wake up to no reunion nxa!! #RHOLagos.” A fellow fan tweeted, “This reunion is never happening #RHOLagos.”
