Srinagar:
Two individuals, including a woman, suffered injuries due to an electric shock on Friday afternoon in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Nasreena Bano, the wife of Mohammad Subhan Kumar from Mondhole, and Owais Ramzan, the son of Mohammad Ramzan Dar from Spoat Devsar, were affected when an HT line fell on them, causing the electric shock.
Swift action was taken, and both victims were promptly transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention. Nasreena’s condition necessitated further treatment, leading to her referral to GMC Anantang for advanced care.
Authorities, including the police, have taken cognizance of the incident, indicating that investigations into the matter are underway to ascertain the circumstances that led to the unfortunate event.
