The mother of jailed Kremlin opponent Alexei Navalny has commented on the reports of her son's death in a Russian prison camp.
"I don't want to hear any expressions of sympathy," she was quoted as saying on Friday by independent newspaper Novaya Gazeta.
She last saw her son during a visit to the prison camp last Monday, she added. "He was alive, healthy and full of life."
Supporters of Navalny said earlier they have not yet received direct confirmation of his death and have only seen a general announcement issued by the prison system.
