Russian units suffered significant officer casualties during the advance on Avdiivka, informs the Telegram channel ATESH.
An agent from the 74th Separate Motorized Brigade reported that the unit may cease to exist.
"After significant losses during the storming of Avdiivka, the command of the 41st Army is considering the dissolution of the mentioned military formation. The brigade has lost over 50% of its officer staff, and the number of wounded is estimated at more than 750 people," the agent stated.
According to the agent, a similar situation is observed in many brigades and units that directly participated in the storming of Avdiivka.
The situation in Avdiivka
On the night of February 17, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, announced that Ukrainian soldiers had left the city to avoid being surrounded by the enemy.
According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the decision for the military to withdraw was fair and professional.
The Ukrainian military revealed the losses of the Russians during the advance on Avdiivka.
