Enough with the arrogance Dave as Moyes sends egotistic direct message to the West Ham fans

David Moyes has sent a bullish message to the West Ham United fans after yesterday’s 2-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest.

West Ham were comfortably beaten by Nottingham Forest, with David Moyes now under real pressure, and the board are thought to be unhappy with the current performances from the team as well as the fan discontentment.

The Hammers haven’t won in our last eight outings in all competitions, and have scored just one goal from open play since December 28th.

The poor run of form culminated in some sections of the travelling West Ham support unfurling ‘Moyes Out’ banenrs at the City Ground yesterday.

The feel-good factor that enveloped the club back in June has well and truly gone, with a dark cloud of doom and gloom now circling the London Stadium.

And Moyes’s comments to reporters yesterday certainly didn’t change the way the majority of the fans think about him…

Moyes sends egotistic message to West Ham fans

The Scot addressed the media after our 2-0 defeat in the East Midlands yesterday afternoon.

And Moyes responded when asked what he thought about the ‘Moyes Out’ banners, as quoted by The Mirror:

“Maybe some fans want a change or maybe they’ve had managers who excite them more possibly… but the one who’s sitting here wins more”.

Yes, Moyes has the best win percentage in the league out of any West Ham manager, aside from Trevor Brooking of course!

However, he only one or two per cent ahead of the likes of Slaven Bilic, Harry Redknapp, Alan Curbishley, Manuel Pellegrini and Alan Pardew.

Yes, Moyes won us our first major trophy since 1980, but let’s be honest here, we were strong favourites to win that competition.

The football deployed by the Scot is utterly turgid, and it is often painful viewing when watching the Hammers under the current manager.

Moyes quite simply isn’t the man we need to make genuine progress on to the next level, it’s so obvious to see that now. And I’m sorry Dave, but an arrogance-laden message is really not what we want to hear right now.
