Karen Huger’s youthful looks are blowing fans away this February. The Real Housewives star joined Dr Jackie and Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live on Sunday and Karen was serving a whole new look. Since she joined RHOP as an original cast member in 2016, Karen has opted for some cosmetic tweaks. She doesn’t shy away from telling people about her treatments or her age.
The Real Housewives of Potomac‘s Karen Huger was “celebrating life” during season 8 as she was turning “triple 20.” The Grand Dame celebrated her 60th birthday in May last year and embraced the age milestone gladly.
Karen Huger on cosmetic tweaks
As fans admire Karen aging backward, some have wondered what cosmetic tweaks she’s opted for over the past eight years.
Fillers and injections are something the RHOP star has openly spoken about on the show.
At the season 5 reunion, Karen said: “I had injections put into my nose because it was bothering my breathing…My nose just tilts down with time, and they just filled the tip of my nose up with a little filler,” writes Bravo.
During RHOP season 8, Karen said she felt getting a matching tattoo with her daughter would “sort of make her cool.” Speaking in the episode, she told her daughter she wasn’t too nervous: “I do my little injections for beauty, anyway, so it’s not very different, right?”
Karen also revealed she got filler in another place during the RHOP reunion in 2021: “I get the under-eye filler… I take very good care of myself. I eat well. I exercise. I think age is just a number,” writes Bravo.
Karen spent 20 years a ‘brunette’
Karen talked about her looks during the 2021 reunion even more by responding to comments about how she’s changed since season 1.
Reflecting on her looks in 2016, Karen said: “You know, I was a brunette. I was a housewife for sure for like 20 years. I had my rebirth,” reports Bravo.
Not only did Karen opt for some changes to her exterior but she’s very keen on staying healthy on the inside, too.
Speaking during season 8 episode 9, Karen said she had a “non-serious” heart condition. She said her priorities were her health, adding: “…diet is great, exercise is great,” “I’m being vigilant about my health.”
Fans say she looks ‘fab’
By the looks of things, Karen is single-handedly turning back the hands of time.
The RHOP star is looking youthful following her sixtieth birthday and has fans and her co-stars in awe.
One fan took to X (Twitter) to say: “Even with the current #RHOP season being unwatchable, you gotta give Karen Huger her things. Momma looks fab! The sole anchor and grand dame of the show.”
Karen has been serving some new looks on her Instagram page this February. She stunned with long blond tresses ahead of Sunday’s Super Bowl and then stepped out with another new look for WWHL.
