Canadian Defense Minister Bill Blair stated that his country is discussing the transfer of ammunition with the Czechs.

“I have signed a memorandum of understanding with one of our European allies, the Czech Republic, regarding the potential purchase of ammunition they currently have available, which will allow us to... make them more accessible to Ukraine as we ramp up our own production,” said Blair.

Previously, Czech President Petr Pavel mentioned that Prague has found hundreds of thousands of artillery rounds that it could transfer to Ukraine. According to him, the Czech Republic could hand over the ammunition "within a few weeks" if other partners are willing to help fund the deal.
