Nearly half of Poles fear potential Russian invasion

Almost half of Poles believe in the probability of Russia attacking Poland

The poll found that close to 47% of participants see a Russian incursion into Poland as a real possibility, in contrast to nearly 38% who disagree. The concern over a potential attack has surged by 16% since a similar poll was conducted in May 2023, RMF24 noted.

The survey also found that nearly half of the respondents (47.4%) believe the war in Ukraine will end in the destruction of both Russia and Ukraine.

This study was conducted by United Surveys on February 10-11, 2024, involving 1,000 people through a combination of CATI/CAWI methodologies.

A Russian attack on NATO possible if Ukraine loses the war, Polish Defense Minister Vladislav Kosinyak-Kamysh said earlier.
