Travis Kelce has touched down in Australia to support his girlfriend Taylor Swift, but not everyone thinks it’s sweet.
After going to see her boyfriend play (and win) the biggest game of the football season earlier this month, Taylor Swift has resumed her Eras Tour by going down under. Because the sporting season has ended, it means Travis Kelce can join her. However, not everyone is convinced by the celebrity couple with some labeling the coverage as “cringe.”

Taking to Reddit, people have been airing their opinions on all the attention the Super Bowl winner and Cruel Summer singer are getting.
Posting about Travis Kelce’s arrival in Australia for the next leg of Taylor Swift’s tour, one person penned: “Well this is a first I am sure in Travis’s life, his arrival at the airport in Sydney was covered live by The Morning Show. Just another aspect of dating the most famous person in the world.”
People sounded off in the replies giving their verdicts on the situation.
“Crazy, EVERY Australian news channel covering Travis’s apparent plane landing is insane.,” wrote one person.
A second said: “Although I think it’s great he’s there the coverage is so cringe!”
Another penned: “I’m so embarrassed for Australian media right now. This is so over-the-top. Our media tends to get a little over-excited when our nice quiet country in the boring hemisphere is the scene of something of world interest. Like a puppy piddling on a rug.
“I can only imagine what will happen if they do end up getting married. It’ll have to be a winter wedding in Antarctica if they want to keep it under wraps.”

Someone else even compared it to another pair of celebrities, David Beckham and Victoria (aka Posh Spice) saying the coverage of Taylor and Travis reminded them of the “hysteria” over Posh and Becks in the 90s.

The “hysteria” might not calm down for some time if the rumor mill is anything to go by.
From whispers of engagements to moving in together. One moving expert says she believes the music star and NFL player could start to settle down soon and even buy a place together to make their own, claiming they could do it by March.
“Speculation was rife that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce had started to share a home together for the long-term in late November, as the singer moved in with her NFL boyfriend for a brief period in the two-month break from The Eras Tour,” Tes explained.
“However, this cohabitation was temporary, meaning the major relationship milestone is yet to be reached.
“We expect to see the duo officially move in together before the end of March, as they can take a break from their intense career schedules and shift their attention to more personal priorities.
“The relationship is clearly going well, and both parties’ families were pictured together at the Super Bowl, so there’s no reason to believe that things will slow down.”
