German sensor tech firm Hensoldt sees 2023 revenue rise

German specialist defence sector manufacturer Hensoldt on Friday reported higher preliminary revenue for fiscal 2023.

The producer of sensor technology said its adjusted EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) jumped 12.8% to €329 million ($356 million) from €292 million in fiscal 2022.

Revenue rose to €1.8 billion from €1.70 billion in the prior year, thanks to a 16% increase in core business volume.

The order intake increased to €2.087 billion from €1.99 billion in the prior year.

Looking forward to the full year, the company expects adjusted EBITDA margin around 19% to 20% and revenues of around €2 billion.

On Thursday, Hensoldt shares closed at €33.76, down 0.71%.
