Liverpool to get free run at 'world-class' player with club 'seriously considering' shock sale - journalist

Liverpool’s hopes of landing another top quality midfield player this summer might just have been given a huge boost.

Despite Jurgen Klopp leaving in the summer, Liverpool still need to plan for new signings and after a good summer in 2023, the Reds and FSG will have faith they can do it again.

Last summer focussed on bringing in younger players to replace older faces like Jordan Henderson and Fabinho.

However, ahead of the summer window in 2024, Liverpool are being linked with a move for ‘world-class’ Bayern midfielder, Joshua Kimmich.

And according to journalist Archie Rhind-Tutt, Bayern are now considering letting the German international go.

Speaking on the BBC’s Euro League’s podcast, ESPN journalist Rhind-Tutt has claimed that Bayern are ‘seriously considering’ letting the likes of Kimmich, Serge Gnabry, and Leroy Sane all leave the club as part of a summer rebuild.

Kimmich would be game-changing for Liverpool

A lot will depend on who Liverpool’s new manager is going to be when it comes to new signings.

However, there is a plan in place beyond the manager and it’s hard to see any coach in world football turning down the chance to work with Joshua Kimmich.

If Liverpool somehow managed to pull this one off it would be quite the signing. Their squad is already littered with brilliant players who are young and can get better.

But Kimmich brings that genuine elite level quality to the ranks and if Bayern do decide to sell, then Liverpool have to make sure they’re right at the front of the queue.
