In Kotomierz, near Bydgoszcz, the retrieval of Ukrainian grain spilled from freight wagons on the tracks has been completed, says PAP.
As reported by Polish media, 8 out of 40 wagons were opened in the train, resulting in the spillage of 160 to 180 tons of Ukrainian grain destined for Morocco.
According to the Polish police, the wagons were "opened by third peoples" because the rope holders were cut.
Later, it became known that part of the grain was successfully collected, but about 30 tons still remain on the tracks. This grain will be disposed of.
The fourth case in a month
On February 20, at the Medyka station, Polish protesters spilled around 4 tons of grain from two-grain wagons awaiting transfer to a narrow-gauge track. This agricultural produce was also in transit to Germany. At that time, Roman Kondrów a co-organizer of the protest by Polish farmers, said that the protesters were allegedly dumping the grain "due to emotions".
On February 23, unknown individuals in Poland again damaged Ukrainian agricultural products. Offenders uncovered three-grain trucks and spilled their contents.
The third case occurred on February 24 at the Polish railway station Dorohusk.
On February 25, grain in transit by rail was again spilled in Poland. This time, over 150 tons of grain were destroyed.
