The Chizza by KFC is now available in the United States for the first time and reviews of the new dish on TikTok will remind you of another famous chicken item that can be easily prepared at home.
This month was all about your favorite dish, from Hot Honey double Pepperoni to heart-shaped breakup pizzas for Valentine’s Day. But “Cheet-za” is one of a kind, going by what the Americans have to say after trying it.
KFC’s Chizza is met with mixed reviews
Let us tell you how it’s made before diving into the taste. As KFC’s advert reads, it’s “not a pizza” but “Cheet-za”, made of two 100% white meat Extra Crispy filets topped with marinara sauce, cheese, and crispy pepperoni.
Several TikTok users have taken to the platform to share their review of the item that was released on February 26 and most of them have one thing to say – it’s fresh and juicy.
The marinara sauce has appealed to a lot of fans for its freshness and enhancing the taste of the deep-fried chicken meat.

The crispy pepperoni and cheese offer a fine balance with a slightly sweet and savory taste.
Just the Chizza will cost you $10, whereas the combo, with fried and a soft drink will come up to $14. The prices may vary with location.
Some TikTok users seem to have liked the taste of Chizza a lot, but when it’s hot. Others said the cheese hadn’t melted fully or the pepperoni wasn’t properly placed on the chicken pieces to enjoy it wholly.

Most users compare it with Chicken Parmesan
For the unversed, chicken parmesan is prepared by covering crispy breaded chicken breast with marinara sauce and topped with cheese.
Although Chizza is prepared the same way as pizza, its close resemblance to chicken parmesan is pointed out by most TikTok users.
