In Ukraine, there were 102 combat clashes on the front line over a day. The aggressors continue to exert pressure in the Avdiivka direction and have significantly intensified their activities in the Novopavlivka direction, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian attacks
Overall, the enemy launched 8 missiles and 75 aviation strikes and conducted 141 shelling attacks with rocket artillery on the positions of our troops and settlements. Unfortunately, there are casualties among the civilian population due to Russian terrorist attacks. Multistory and private houses, as well as other objects of civilian infrastructure, have been damaged and destroyed.
At the end of the previous day, Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine using 10 UAVs of the Shahed type. All enemy drones were destroyed by Air Defense Forces.
During the past day, populated areas of Chernatske, Chuykivka, Khrapivschyna, Hrabovske, Yunakivka, Pustohorod in the Sumy region; Bologivka, Ivanivka, Berestove in the Kharkiv region; Vyimka, Vesele, Bohdanivka, Druzhba, Novoselivka Persha, Pervomaiske, Kurakhove, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, Vodyane, Staromaiorske, and Urozhaine in the Donetsk region; Levadne, Mala Tokmachka, Orikhiv, Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region; Molodizhne in the Kherson region were subjected to aerial bombardment.
More than 110 populated areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.
Frontline situation
In the Volyn and Polissya directions, the operational situation remains largely unchanged.
In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the redeployment of our forces to threatened areas, and increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy launched 13 unsuccessful attacks in the areas of the settlements of Synkivka and Tabaivka in the Kharkiv region.
In the Lyman direction, the Defense Forces repelled 11 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Terni and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repelled 11 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Ivanivske, Klischiivka, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 25 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Berdychiv, Orlivka, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the defense forces continued to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Novomikhailivka, and west of Pobieda in the Donetsk region, where the enemy attempted 29 times to break through our troops' defense. Additionally, four more enemy attacks were repelled in the areas south of Vuhledar, Staromaiorske, and Urozhaine in the Donetsk region.
In the Orikhiv direction, the defense forces repelled 8 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Malynivka and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Kherson direction, the Defense Forces continue their efforts to expand the bridgehead. Despite significant losses, the enemy continues its attempts to dislodge our units from their positions. During the past day, the enemy made 1 unsuccessful attempt to storm the positions of our troops on the left bank of the Dnipro River.
Enemy losses
During the past day, the defense aviation conducted strikes on 15 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated. Additionally, units of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 2 Su-34 fighter-bombers and 4 reconnaissance UAVs.
Missile troops units targeted 4 areas where enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment were concentrated, as well as 2 artillery pieces, 1 air defense system, and 2 enemy radar stations.
