Bitcoin Surpasses $59,000 Following GDP Data; Pepe Emerges As Top Gainer

Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) moved higher, with the cryptocurrency prices topping the key $59,000 level on Wednesday.

Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) also recorded gains, trading above the key $3,300 mark this morning.

Pepe (CRYPTO: PEPE) was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Flare (CRYPTO: FLR) turned out to be the biggest loser.

At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap rose to $2.21 trillion, recording a 24-hour gain of 2.6%. BTC was trading higher by 3.5% at $59,309 while ETH rose by around 1% to $3,311 on Wednesday.
