Full-year earnings drop at Nivea maker Beiersdorf

Beiersdorf, the German maker of famous personal care brands such as Elastoplast, Eucerin, Labello, La Prairie and Nivea, on Thursday reported a lower income for its fiscal year 2023.

Yearly earnings decreased to €749 million ($812 million) or €3.24 per share from €771 million or €3.33 per share in the last year.

Total revenue increased to €9.45 billion from €8.8 billion in the prior year. Organically, revenues increased by 10.8%.

Group revenue improved particularly due to the consumer business segment, the dermatological business and healthcare.
