The biggest movies coming to Netflix, Amazon and Disney+ this March

March 2024 promises to be a busy month for film fans as a whole plethora of movies are coming to the various streaming services over the coming weeks.

While the likes of Dune: Part Two and Kung Fu Panda 4 are hitting theaters this month, those who are subscribers of Netflix, Disney+ or Amazon’s Prime Video have a lot to look forward to as well.

Spaceman | Netflix

Release date: March 1

The lineup of movies streaming in March 2024 begins with one of the most unique films of Adam Sandler’s career. The sci-fi tells the story of Jakub, an astronaut in the middle of a solitary research mission on the edge of the solar system. When he realizes that his marriage to wife Lenka (Carey Mulligan) might not be waiting for him when he gets back home, Jakub finds an unlikely ally hiding in the bowels of his ship, a wise and mysterious alien spider from the beginning of time (Paul Dano).

Ricky Stanicky | Amazon Prime Video

Release date: March 7

Ever since childhood, three best friends Dean, JT and Wes (Zac Efron, Andrew Santino, and Jermaine Fowler) have blamed their various pranks on an imaginary friend, Ricky Stanicky. When their spouses finally get suspicious about Stanicky, the trio hires a wash-up actor (John Cena) to bring their imaginary friend to life.

Damsel | Netflix

Release date: March 8

Starring Stranger Things’ Millie Bobby Brown, Damsel tells the story of a dutiful princess who agrees to marry a handsome prince. However, the fairytale wedding never happens as the young woman has been tricked into becoming a sacrifice for a fire-breathing dragon. With no one coming to save her, she must rely on her own wits to survive.

Irish Wish | Netflix

Release date: March 15

Following her return in Falling for Christmas, Lindsay Lohan is back in another Netflix rom-com, Irish Wish. Lohan takes on the role of Maddie, a woman whose lifelong love is about to marry her best friend. When Maddie makes a spontaneous wish for true love, she suddenly wakes up as the bride-to-be, only to realize that her soulmate might be someone else after all.

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) | Disney+

Release date: March 15

Following its record-breaking theatrical run last year, Taylor Swift’s concert film of her smash hit Eras Tour is coming to Disney+. Taylor’s Version of the Eras Tour film will include five songs not included in the theatrical release, including Cardigan and four additional acoustic tracks.

Road House | Amazon Prime Video

Release date: March 21

Jake Gyllenhaal stars in this adrenaline-fueled remake of the 1980s cult classic. Ex-UFC fighter Elwood Dalton takes on a job as a bouncer at a Florida Keys roadhouse. However, it’s not long before he crosses paths with some unsavory characters and discovers that this paradise is not all it’s cracked up to be.

Shirely | Netflix

Release date: March 22

In her first film role since 2021’s The Harder They Fall, Regina King stars as Shirley Chisholm in this must-see biopic, telling the story of the first Black congresswoman and her trailblazing run for president of the United States in 1972.

The Casagrandes | Netflix

Release date: March 22

Following on from the success of the Nickelodeon TV series, The Casagrandes are making their way to Netflix for a feature-length movie. After a surprise family trip to Mexico derails the plans that Ronnie Anne had for her birthday, she is determined to prove that she is old enough to do her own thing. However, she may find herself questioning that when she confronts an ancient demigod whose angst has apocalyptic potential.

The Beautiful Game | Netflix

Release date: March 29

And the last of the movies coming to streaming in March is The Beautiful Game. Starring Bill Nighy and Top Boy’s Michael Ward, the film tells the story of England’s homeless soccer team, led by manager Mal, who takes a gamble by adding talented but troubled striker Vinny to his squad for the Homeless World Cup in Rome.
