“Most difficult game we played because of the circumstances. Four games in 11 days is really tricky with the squad situation we have,” Klopp told Sky Sports.
“It was super special. You could see it didn’t go easy for us today in any part of the game. It’s so hard. How we have four wins, I can’t believe. Incredible assist in the very last second. Wonderful feeling. I’m really happy. I can’t ask for more than what the boys are doing.”
Klopp is right. What Liverpool have done over the last four games is nothing short of incredible. Liverpool have been sensational and have managed to weather every challenge thrown at them. That is the sign of champions, and Liverpool are heading that way if they continue to produce performances like that.
Today’s performance while no the most eye catching was again very special from Klopp’s side. A game that won’t be remembered in history. But it’s the kind of game that can determine the Premier League title.
