Near Avdiivka, Russian occupiers partially control the villages of Berdychi and Tonenke. At the same time, the Defense Forces managed to halt the enemy's advance in this section of the front, according to the spokesman for the Tavria operational-strategic group, Dmytro Lykhoviy.

According to him, the situation is being successfully stabilized in the Avdiivka direction, and the advance of Russian invaders has been halted.

"The villages of Berdychi and Tonenke are partially controlled by the Russian army, but the Defense Forces are doing their job, inflicting significant losses on the enemy, and the enemy's advance has been halted at this line," Lykhoviy said.

Situation in the Avdiivka direction

As of March 4, Ukrainian defenders repelled 20 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Berdychi, Orlivka, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.

As noted by the Institute for the Study of War, on March 3, positional battles near Avdiivka continued, but there were no confirmed changes in the front line.

Today, we reported on how Ukrainian defenders near Avdiivka destroyed enemy infantry with artillery, which was moving through the forest strip.
