Levi Roots is one of the iconic celebrity housemates to enter the revamped Celebrity Big Brother house, and he shocked fans on the first night by revealing he has eight kids.
The 65-year-old rose to fame in 2007 when he appeared on Dragons Den, to pitch, and sing about his Reggae Reggae Sauce. He then went on to build an empire with the tasty condiments and went on to become the most famous participant on the show. He’s now entered the Celebrity Big Brother house, and fans are now finding out about his personal life, as well as his business they all know and love.
Levi Roots reveals he has eight kids
As the celebs got to know each other on their first night in the revamped ITV house, Broadway star Marisha Wallace asked Roots how many children he had.
The entrepreneur then revealed he had eight children, shocking fellow housemates including Fern Britton.
Levi then went on to make an even bigger revelation, as he announced: “‘Fern it gets worse, I have eight children with seven different mothers.”
The shocked housemates then went on to question how old his oldest child is, to which he said “40 plus.”
“I’m 65, I started young,” he joked.
Levi Roots’ son Christopher makes regular appearances on his social media
The star is pretty private about his family life on social media, however, he regularly uploads videos with his young son, Christopher on Instagram.
In 2019, he uploaded a huge family photo with his son Danai and his daughter-in-law, along with his two grandchildren and a load of other family members.
Roots is also known to have two daughters, Joanne Caesar and Sharlene Williams.
Upon learning about Levi’s many children, CBB fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter to share their thoughts, and they were just as shocked as the housemates.
“Finding out Levi Roots has 8 kids with 7 different women is wild,” wrote one.
“Levi Roots I can’t believe you’ve got eight kids by seven different mothers,” another penned.
A third joked: “8 kids with 7 different women? Levi Roots really IS the sauce man.”
