On Super Tuesday, journalist Emily Maitlis was at Mar-a-Lago when she saw far-right Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia). And their conversation, according to The Independent, took a turn for the worse when the Ontario, Canada-born Maitlis — a former BBC reporter who now co-hosts the U.K. podcast "The News Agents" — brought up the conspiracy theories Greene has promoted.

Maitlis asked Greene to comment on former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, who likely 2024 GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump defeated in a long list of states on Super Tuesday. And Greene told Maitlis that Haley should drop out of the race and endorse Trump.

The next morning, CNN reported that Haley had decided to end her campaign. But no Trump endorsement was announced.

When Maitlis brought up Greene's conspiracy theories — including her infamous "Jewish space lasers" post on Facebook — the Georgia congresswoman had an angry response.

Greene told Maitlis, "Why don't you go talk about Jewish space lasers, and really, why don't you f---- off? How about that?"

Greene has been a staunch supporter of Trump and is reportedly hoping that Trump will choose her as his running mate.

In the past, Greene was a major promoter of the QAnon conspiracy theory. But despite all the negative press she received, Greene has become a close ally of former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-California).
