Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha is set to make his comeback after four months out with a hip injury.

"It's a great pleasure to have him back. He's been training with the team for 10 days and is working extremely hard," Dortmund coach Edin Terzic told reporters ahead of the Bundesliga fourth-placed team's match at Werder Bremen on Saturday.

Terzic though is refusing to rush the 23-year-old and he is unlikely to start against the eighth-placed opponents.

"We have made a conscious decision to give him the time he needs," added Terzic.

Injured goalkeeper Gregor Kobel is also making progress and returned to team training on Thursday.

"But we'll only put him back in goal if he's 100% ready," added Terzic, who has fielded Alex Meyer in recent weeks.

If Nmecha and Kobel return to the sqaud, only forward Sébastien Haller will remain on the treatment table.

Better news with injuries comes at a good time for Dortmund, ahead of their Champions League last-16 second leg next Wednesday at home to PSV Eindhoven. The tie is locked at 1-1.
