Campbell’s announces grilled cheese and tomato soup

Campbell’s new flavor of soup is inspired by the classic combination of grilled cheese and tomato. It is the brand’s first-ever limited-edition item sold as “comfort food.”

The flavor of the tomato soup is described as “toasty and cheesy”, which can be prepared in two different ways. If you like your soup diluted, prepare it by mixing it with water or, you can add milk to make it more creamy.

The grilled cheese and tomato soup is expected to go on sale “soon”, and fans can win a free 2 pack before it’s sold by entering a lucky dip.

Winners will get to taste the new flavor on National Grilled Cheese Day on April 12. The entries are open from now through March 20, 2024. The winners will be contacted on or around March 21.

The price of the product hasn’t been revealed at the time of this writing.

Fans are divided over the new flavor

As grilled cheese and tomato may not be to everyone’s liking, Campbell’s announcement is met with different kinds of reactions.

When one fan described it as the “best thing ever”, another asked if the announcement was an “April’s Fool prank,” as they couldn’t approve of the flavor.

One comment read: “I would never eat this. Looks so cheesy.” while another user wrote: “I want to know who passed this.”

“OMG. I need to try this!,” said one, and another added: “How do I get some of this Campbell’s grilled cheese is kinda my thing.”
