And of course, Arsenal demolished Sheffield United on Monday night to remain within touch of the top two. And the Gunners have the opportunity to go top as they play first this coming weekend.

Liverpool host Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday. The pair drew 1-1 at the Etihad Stadium earlier this season. And it would be a big blow for either should they lose on Merseyside.
Speaking on the No Tippy Tappy Football podcast, Sam Allardyce has shared his prediction for the crucial clash.
“Depends on Liverpool’s senior players being fit, because I’m not so sure that the youngsters will handle Manchester City. From the other point of view, Man City are still a bit leaky, which is unusual. When they win what they normally win, they’re not quite as leaky as they are. So I say it’s a draw, sit on the fence as usual,” he said.

This is around the time of the season where Manchester City traditionally start to find their top gear. So it is going to be a real challenge for the Reds to try and contain them, particularly with the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Haaland and Phil Foden looking so good right now.

You also cannot overlook the impact playing at Anfield could have. No stadium in the Premier League seems to have enjoyed a greater number of famous occasions.
