TAMPA, Fla. \- Hillsborough County Fire Rescue fought a residential structure fire on Songbird Way in Tampa early Friday morning.
"Our dispatch center began receiving multiple 911 calls at 4:15 A.M. from first-party callers reporting fire and explosions coming from the garage of a residence on Songbird Way," said HCFR.
Officials say the first arriving engine was met with heavy fire in the garage, moving toward the house.

Firefighters battled the blaze from inside the residence, stopping its progression before it overtook the remainder of the house.
Firefighters searched the residence, and no occupants were found. First responders were not injured, and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
