Nikki Haley will be living in style when she returns home to South Carolina after dropping out of the 2024 presidential race. The former Republican hopeful owns a 4-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom, 5,699-square-foot mansion on an island that looks like a private paradise.
Haley, 52, and husband, Michael, purchased the luxurious residence for $2.4 million in 2019, according to Realtor.com. Haley was serving as the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations at the time, a post that she ascended to after previously serving as the Republican Governor of South Carolina from 2011-2017.
Haley announced that she would run against former President Donald Trump for the Republican nomination for president in February of 2023, and she hung in against the real estate mogul and former Celebrity Apprentice star all the way through his widespread victories on Super Tuesday on March 5, 2024. She then announced she was suspending her campaign, though she notably did not endorse Trump.
Haley and her family will have plenty of space and privacy to plan her next moves. The estate on Kiawah Island centers around a soaring, two-story great room with a wall of windows that offers sweeping views, as well as a fireplace.
The other amenities of the stunning house include:
