Gaza: Israeli bombs kill scores, Sweden resumes UNRWA funds

Israeli forces continued to bomb the besieged Gaza Strip overnight, killing at least 82 Palestinians, including women and children.

Israeli soldiers targeted Gaza City, Rafah, Khan Younis and other locations across the Strip, bringing the death toll up to 30,960.

Meanwhile, the Pentagon said that the US-built pier designed for Gaza to receive aid shipments might take up to two months to construct.

Pentagon press secretary Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder said that once built, the pier will require aid to be both offloaded onto it, which Israel will oversee the security of, and then moved by smaller military vessels onto Gaza’s coast.

Additionally, Sweden is the latest country to resume funding to the United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA), with a grant over $20 million.
