Fenland drivers set for BriSCA F1 stock car bow at King’s Lynn’s Adrian Flux Arena

Stock car racing returns to King’s Lynn this Saturday (5pm) when the BriSCA F1 stock cars make their first appearance of the campaign.

The two-litre stock cars will also be back in action following their great performance two weeks ago with the BriSCA MiniStox making their sole 2024 Lynn appearance.

Fenland fans will have a new driver to cheer in the BriSCA F1 formula with Bradley Blyth making his debut in the formula.

Car number 350 Tommy Parrin will be back in action in the 2L stock cars at King’s Lynn this Saturday where he will be looking to keep all four wheels on the ground.

Blyth is the son of one of the stars of yesteryear in the Superstox at the old Wisbech track Stu Blyth.

He does have former stock car experience in the BriSCA F2 stock cars but such is the power difference in the F1 formula that the youngster enters the formula as a novice and will be at the wheel of a Matt Newson car.

Blyth is looking to compete at most shale meetings in 2024 and whilst he will be looking to feel his way into the formula on Saturday local fans will be delighted to have someone new to get behind.

Tommy Parrin will also be making his 2024 debut in the 2L event on Saturday.

Parrin put his cars up for sale over the winter looking at a change of formula but the good news is that he has had a change of heart and will be back in action.

Delays in getting the shale car ready meant that he missed the season opener at Lynn a fortnight ago but the tarmac car was ready for action.

Parrin was in action the next day at Skegness where some good drives were topped with a heat victory and he will be looking to continue that form on Saturday.

Finally, the minis make their sole Lynn appearance and it will be the last time Brooke Kitson races a mini at the venue as age forces retirement in a few months.

A move into BriSCA F1 or F2 being rumoured as she will be looking to follow in father Daz’s footsteps.
