Four new wraps appear to be coming to Subway this spring made with Lavash Bread – and they look delicious.
Lavash is a thin, soft type of Middle Eastern flatbread that’s commonly eaten in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iran and Turkey.
Subway’s Lavash Bread Wraps
The four wraps were shared by Instagram user Snackolator this week, who reveals all the latest food and drink releases.
“These should be out in the next few weeks and have been tested in recent months by Subway as they are going to be replacing all of their flatbreads with a new ‘Lavash Bread’ which is supposed to be a softer, more flexible wrap,” they claimed.
The four wraps are:
- Homestyle Chicken Salad: Rotisserie-style chicken mixed with mayo and topped with lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers, and red onions.
- Honey Mustard Chicken: Rotisserie-style chicken topped with lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, Monterey cheddar cheese and honey mustard sauce.
- Cali Caprese: BelGioioso® fresh mozzarella and smashed avocado topped with lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers, Roasted Garlic Aioli and MVP Vinaigrette.
- Turkey Bacon Avocado: Oven-roasted turkey, crispy bacon, and smashed avocado topped with lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, Monterey cheddar cheese and zesty Peppercorn Ranch.
The Focus has reached out to Subway for confirmation, but an employee has already shared two videos of himself making the new wraps – so they’re definitely coming soon.
“Introducing !!! All New Subway Homestyle chicken Salad Wrap on LAVASH Bread,” he said, showing off how to make the Chicken Salad and Turkey Bacon Avocado options.
‘Cali Caprese is speaking my love language’
Fast food fans are really excited for the release, with one person writing on Instagram: “These look and sound better than the current wraps.”
“Cali Caprese is speaking my love language,” said another.
A third person added: “Ooooh the honey mustard one sounds delicious.”
“They all look good,” someone else wrote.
Subway currently has an epic BOGO deal which means you can get a second footlong sandwich for free when you pay for one. It’s available in the app and all you have to do is use a secret code when checking out.
