‘Probably’: Andy Robertson says £34m Liverpool player is the toughest person to train against

Liverpool have some truly amazing players on their books right now.

The Reds are one of the best teams in England, and while they perform brilliantly on the pitch, we can’t even begin to imagine how good they are in training.

Indeed, with the pressure off behind the scenes, the Reds’ star players will be able to play with even more freedom, and according to Andy Robertson, there’s one player who is a nightmare to face in training.

Speaking to Stadium Astro, Robertson has claimed that Mohamed Salah is in fact the hardest player to train against at Liverpool, claiming that they always have very competitive battles.

Mohamed Salah is difficult to train against

Robertson spoke about what it’s like to train against the £34m man.

“Probably Mo, we come up against each other, he’s on the right, I’m on the left and we have a laugh the whole way through because we try to beat each other. It’s always competitive and we try to get one up on each other, so I’d probably say Mo,” Robertson said.

Painful

We can only imagine how painful it is to have to play against Salah in training every day.

Most full-backs only have to face the Egyptian twice a season, and even then they can come away from the battle with emotional scars after being tormented for 90 minutes.

Robertson has to face Salah everyday, and we can’t even begin to think about how intense that must be.

Make no mistake about it, Salah will bring everything to every single session, and Robertson has to deal with that.

It probably helps make Robertson a better player and pushes him to that next level, but we certainly don’t envy the left-back for having to play against Salah on a daily basis.

We’re not at all surprised to hear that Salah is a nightmare to face in training.
