Casually scrolling through Twitter to see Kylie and Ella pouting while cozying up to each other was certainly not what Love Island fans predicted for 2024, but the two hit it off as friends straight away.
Kylie’s PR team invited the influencer to her Kylie Cosmetics event in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, where Jenner wore a long slinky burgundy dress, and Ella slayed in an all-black outfit.
The event took place to launch her new fragrance and afterwards, Kylie wrote how she’s “sooo thankful to each and every person who came to celebrate COSMIC with me last night.”
‘Duo we didn’t see coming’
The unlikely duo is something fans “didn’t see coming but are here for”.
Many love the new friendship, with one writing: “Such an iconic queen we need her part 2 collaboration w u guys.”
Fans say Ella “ate Kylie up” in the snaps. A Love Island follower said: “ngl like Kylie is beautiful but Ella ate her up 😍,” while another penned, “Ella said here is something to talk about👏🏾.”
However, it’s not often The Kardashians and Love Island stars hang out together, with fans saying it’s the “most random linkup” and how it’s purely been done “to promote Kylie Cosmetics”.
Kris Jenner gets in on the action
During the Hidden Hills PR event, Kylie didn’t pose for just one snap with Ella but three pics, and none other than Kris Jenner even appeared on the Love Island star’s Instagram Story.
Ella took a video smiling with the momager, as well as another vid clinking glasses with Kylie and other influences at the event – which all guests received a golf cart ride to!
In the most BFF-esque video of them all, Kylie notices that Ella is filming before she puts her arm around her, before making a “mwah” sound. So it’s basically confirmed, right? They’re besties!
