Strengthening of defensive structures throughout Ukraine

Recently, it was reported that builders and engineers from Zakarpattia are working around the clock to construct fortification structures in the Zaporizhzhia region despite constant attacks by Russians.

Dmytro Lykhoviy, the spokesperson for the Joint Forces Operation in the Tavria direction, also stated that fortification structures are currently being built on the second line in the Avdiivka direction. These are solid wooden trenches equipped with certain concrete bunkers, also known as armor capsules.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also received a report from Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal regarding the pace of the construction of new defensive lines. According to him, this involves a defense in three strips totaling 2000 kilometers.
