'We’re trying': Callum Hudson-Odoi says Forest need to improve one thing under Nuno Espirito Santo

Nottingham Forest winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has admitted there needs to be one specific improvement under Nuno Espirito Santo.

Forest go into the weekend with a huge opportunity to pull themselves away from the relegation zone.

A relegation ‘six-pointer’ is on the billing for Saturday as Nuno Espirito Santo’s men travel to Kenilworth Road.

Hudson-Odoi spots Forest change

It has been a difficult run of games for Forest who travel to play Luton Town on Saturday on the back of a four-game losing streak.

Their defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion was another difficult one to swallow after a reckless challenge on Neco Williams did not brandish a red card.

But the game against Luton can provide Forest the ability to pull six points clear of the Hatters who currently sit in 18 place.

Speaking ahead of the game, Callum Hudson-Odoi has claimed his side need to show more focus during the games to come away with points.

He said: “We’re trying to attack and score more goals. Nuno believes in everyone. We’re playing well, we make chances, we defend well. It’s just being more focused in every game and making sure we’re getting the points.”

Forest’s relegation woes

Three points against Luton would go a long way to easing some of the pressure on Forest ahead of the run in.

A six-point gap could even see a difference in Forest going forward with the cushion between them and the drop zone.

However, the result on Saturday will not determine anything just yet with still a number of games to go.

Victory against Rob Edwards’ side would compile the misery on Luton after what has been a shocking week for them.

The Hatters are going into the game on Saturday on the back of a capitulation against Bournemouth during the week.

And a defeat against their closest rivals in the league would potentially dampen their spirits even further.

Forest have shown this season that they can pull off some impressive results on the road, but they can’t let the pressure of Saturday’s game get the better of them.
