Ukraine's defense forces have long-range weapons of domestic production that can strike targets in Russia, which reduces the capabilities of the Kremlin's "war machine," states Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"In these weeks, many have already seen that the Russian system of warfare has vulnerabilities and that we can exploit these vulnerabilities with our weapons," the head of state said.

Thus, the President expressed his gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine for "new Ukrainian long-range capability".

Zelenskyy also thanked the domestic defense industry: "everyone who works for the sake of Ukrainian strength."

"Because this is truly Ukrainian long-range capability - what our own drones can do. Ukraine will now always have its own striking force in the sky," the president emphasized.

Attacks on refineries in Russia

Recently, attacks by Ukrainian drones on Russian refineries have become increasingly systematic. For example, a drone attacked one of the largest oil refineries in Yaroslavl.

RBC-Ukraine's sources also reported that SSU drones hit a refinery in Tuapse, causing a massive fire.

In addition, the SSU drones hit the Ust-Luga Oil oil terminal. Fuel is processed there, which, among other things, is supplied to the Russian military.

Earlier today, on March 16, RBC-Ukraine's sources reported that the SSU attacked three oil refineries in the Samara region of Russia last night. These are Rosneft refineries.
