They say only the best parents get promoted to grandparents and 7 Little Johnstons stars Trent and Amber have clearly made the cut. The two TLC stars took to social media to share their birthday celebrations this year. The couple is starring in all-new episodes of their family’s show from March 12 alongside their kids Liz, Jonah, Alex, Emma, and Anna.
In 7 Little Johnstons season 14, some exciting news comes to light when Elizabeth Johnston and Brice Bolden share they’re expecting their first child together. In November last year, they welcomed a daughter named Leighton Drew. Liz’s parents had some concerns over her giving birth. But, they exclusively told PEOPLE it was “awesome” to see their daughter as a mom, adding how she’s “amazing.”
7 Little Johnstons: Trent and Amber’s birthdays
Parents of five Amber and Trent Johnston are two main cast members of 7 Little Johnstons.
The two have been starring on their family’s show for the past decade. Since they’ve been sharing their lives with TLC fans for around 10 years, fans are always curious to know more about the latest goings-on.
This year, the family shared some special achievements with family members graduating. Last year the arrival of their first grandchild was also a huge blessing to the Johnstons.
In March, both Amber and Trent celebrated their birthdays and shared adorable posts on Instagram to mark the occasion.
Trent turned 48 on March 17, while Amber is now 45 years old as of March 10.
New cast member steals spotlight
Although Amber and Trent were sharing to IG about their birthday celebrations, all eyes are on the newest member of the Johnston family – Liz and Brice’s daughter – Leighton Drew.
7 Little Johnstons fans were quick to hop on the comments section of both posts to share birthday wishes.
However, more were intrigued by Amber’s new nickname of “Lolli,” asking: “the word ‘Lolli’ is what in what language please? Ty.”
Another said: “Best mom ever and now the best grandma.”
One fan commented: “Happy 45 Birthday to the best Lolli in the world! We love you bunches.”
Others were taken down memory lane by Amber’s post, writing: “Remember this book? Was one of your favorites,” as Amber is seen reading The Rainbow Fish to her granddaughter.
TLC fans are ‘cringed out’
While some of the 7 Little Johnstons cast members’ relationships are heading south during season 14, the sparks are still flying for Amber and Trent.
Season 14 episode 1 sees Anna excited about buying her first home. Fans appear to be totally here for the star’s achievements per X (Twitter).
However, the same episode’s scenes of Trent and Amber body painting one another had fans “cringing.”
More said “Trent’s innuendos” were a step too far for them during the TLC show’s premiere episode.
Others agreed they weren’t into the star’s “Jack and Rose” references and bedroom comments.
