'Unbelievable' Arsenal loanee just bagged 12th goal of the season, he could still be sold

Mika Biereth has been one of Arsenal’s best-performing players out on loan this season, and the attacker was again in fine form for Sturm Graz this afternoon.

The Danish youth international started the season out on loan with Motherwell, yet it became quickly apparent that Biereth was too good for the Scottish Premier League with the striker scoring six goals and assisting five.

Recalled in January and shipped out to the Austrian Bundesliga with Sturm Graz, Biereth has again thrived out on loan, with the 21-year-old forward looking unstoppable away from north London.

And this Sunday saw Biereth extend his brilliant goalscoring numbers to 14 with the former Fulham academy star bagging a brace this afternoon for Sturm Graz against Austria Klagenfurt.

Once lauded by former Arsenal recruitment official Yousuf Sajjad as ‘unbelievable’, it’s clear that Biereth is ready to become a regular in the senior game beyond this season.

And with Arsenal unlikely to turn to Biereth for next year, there’s a good chance that the attacker could leave north London, something reportedly could happen in the coming months.

Indeed, Biereth has shown with Motherwell and now at Sturm Graz that he has the potential to become a real star on the European stage, and today’s showing might have added a few million to his price tag.

This summer is shaping up to be quite a profitable one for Arsenal, with a number of first-team players set to be sold as the Gunners look to recoup a substantial amount from the market to spend on new signings.

And Biereth could be one of the numerous academy players who could bring in a good fee for Arsenal, with the Danish youth international’s form this season making the youngster an appealing option for clubs.

With Biereth thriving in the Austrian Bundesliga and scoring in the UEFA Europa Conference League, the Dane won’t be short of suitors, and Arsenal could stand to profit from selling the 21-year-old.
