Kyogo Furuhashi has just sent brilliant message to Celtic fans on Instagram this morning

Now that the international break is upon us, Celtic have players who will do their duty for their country and others who will stay behind and work on their game.

With this season’s title being the most lucrative in the history of Scottish football, the £60m Champions League bounty that awaits Brendan Rodgers if he wins the league could be a game-changer for Celtic.

It would mean that the financial chasm that already exists between us and Rangers will grow and Celtic would have the opportunity to continue their domination of Scottish football for years to come.

But to do that we need all of our top players firing on all cylinders. Injury issues meant that Celtic have found it difficult to get into their groove but as we saw against St Johnstone on Saturday, there are key players that are now starting to find their groove.

One of them is Kyogo Furuhashi. The Japanese striker has struggled to recapture the goal-scoring form that crowned him the SPFL Top Goalscorer last season, but over the last few weeks, he has been getting back to his best.

And this morning, Kyogo has sent a brilliant vow to the Celtic fans on Instagram as the title race now that the team sit on top of the league once more:

Although he missed out on an international call from the Hajime Moriyasu this time around, Kyogo’s determination to do well for Celtic has just never wavered.

With two goals and an assist in his last two outings, the striker is now on fire and if truth be told, he could have had more against St Johnstone had it not been for the offside flag and the Perth side’s woodwork.

Kyogo is hitting form just at the right time of the season for us and there is no doubt he will have a huge say in where this title is going to end up in May.
