Debutant Aleksandar Pavlovic was absent with an infection when Bayern Munich players arrived at the national team quarters in Frankfurt on Monday for upcoming friendlies against France and the Netherlands.

Midfielder Pavlovic, 19, is among six players who got their first call-up, and it was not clear immediately when he will be able to join the squad.

Germany play France on Saturday in Lyon and the Netherlands three days later in Frankfurt.

The other four Bayern players in coach Julian Nagelsmann's 26-player squad are Manuel Neuer, Joshua Kimmich, Jamal Musiala and Thomas Müller.

Goalkeeper Neuer, 37, is back in the team for the first time since the 2022 World Cup. He was sidelined until October with a lower leg fracture sustained in a skiing accident in December 2022.
