Ukrainian government allocates additional 5 billion hryvnias for purchase of drones

The government has allocated an additional UAH 5 billion (US$128.8 million) for the Security and Defence Forces, which will be used to purchase drones.

Quote: "An additional UAH 5 billion has been allocated today for the security and defence forces. The funds will be used to purchase drones needed by our defenders on the front line," he said.

Yulia Svyrydenko, Minister of Economy of Ukraine,noted that agreements worth about UAH 30 billion (US$ 773 million) have already been signed with UAV manufacturers, and contracts worth UAH 14 billion (US$ 370 million) are being prepared.
