Tottenham are making plans for the summer already as they prepare to back Ange Postecoglou in the transfer window.
Spurs enjoyed a good summer in 2023 then moved again in January to sign the likes of Timo Werner, Lucas Bergvall and Radu Dragusin.
However, Postecoglou wants even more new faces and according to a report from Football Transfers, Tottenham could raid West Ham for their defender, Ben Johnson.

According to the report from FT, Spurs are lurking for Johnson as his contract talks with the Hammers have hit a bit of an impasse.
The versatile 24-year-old can play on both sides and it’s claimed Ange Postecoglou likes the idea of bring him in as cover for both Destiny Udogie and Pedro Porro.
Johnson has been offered a new deal by West Ham but with his current contract up in the summer, no new terms have been agreed just yet.
Tottenham, then, are ready to swoop in for Johnson and land him on a free, should things with West Ham continue to stall.
A solid signing for free
Tottenham do need to add to the squad this summer and if they can do that by landing a few players for free, then that’s a bonus as well.
Ben Johnson is a player who has done well for West Ham when needed. Indeed, Paul Robinson lauded the 24-year-old as being‘absolutely brilliant’ previously.
Quite whether Johnson would sign for Spurs knowing he’d be second fiddle to both Porro and Udogie is another conversation.
But on paper, Johnson would be a solid signing for Tottenham, improving their squad depth and quality while not breaking the bank one bit.
