How to keep up with Sheffield Wednesday's 6 players on international duty, including Ugbo & Cadamarteri

Here is how to keep up with all the international action as six Sheffield Wednesday players feature for their countries.

Sheffield Wednesday head into the international break at the right time after enduring back-to-back defeats, as well as their heaviest loss in all competitions since 2014.

The Owls will still be desperate to earn the vital point that could drag them towards safety, but will first have a two-week break before hosting Swansea City at the end of the month.

While a majority of the squad will continue to train and prepare at Middlewood Road, there are six players who will have already joined their national team for upcoming fixtures.

Ian Poveda was also scheduled to link up with Colombia, but will miss out after suffering an injury against Ipswich Town.

Here are the six players on international duty and how to keep up with their matches…

Ike Ugbo (Canada)

Ike Ugbo is set for only one match this month, as Canada face Trinidad and Tobago in a CONCACAF Nations League play-off clash in Dallas, Texas.

The match is due to kick off at 8pm on Saturday 23rd March (UK time) and will be broadcast live on the CONCACAF YouTube channel.

Ugbo has eight caps to his name and will be up against the likes of Lille’s Jonathan David and Mallorca’s Cyle Larin for a place in the line-up.

Di’Shon Bernard (Jamaica)

Di’Shon Bernard is set to star in Jamaica’s CONCACAF Nations League semi-final tie with USA later this week – also taking place in Texas.

The match will take place at 11pm (UK time) on Thursday 21st March and will also be shown on CONCACAF YouTube channel.

Bernard has started three of the Reggae Boyz’ six games in the Nations League this season.

Joey Phuthi (Zimbabwe)

Joey Phuthi received his first international call-up ahead of Zimbabwe’s friendly against Zambia this weekend.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 12pm (UK time) on Saturday, but won’t be shown on live TV here.

Pierce Charles (Northern Ireland U21s)

Pierce Charles could be in line for his first international cap after receiving a call-up to Northern Ireland U21s upcoming fixtures against Czech Republic and Serbia.

The friendly against the Czechs kicks off at 4.30pm on Thursday, while the European Championship qualifier against Serbia is at 5pm on Tuesday 26th March. There has been no confirmation of either game being streamed live.

James Beadle (England Elite League Squad)

James Beadle will link up with the Young Lions (formerly known as the U20s) ahead of Elite League meetings with Poland at 6pm on Friday, and Czech Republic at 3pm on Tuesday 26th.

Neither game looks set to be shown on live TV in the UK.

Bailey Cadamarteri (England U19s)

Bailey Cadamarteri could make his England U19s debut this week after snubbing the Jamaica national team.

The Young Lions will take on Morocco at 8.30pm on Thursday, before facing USA in another friendly on Sunday morning at 10am.

Once again, neither match is scheduled to be streamed in the UK.
